SHANGRI-LA BRAND IDENTITY
Sichuan is a large, heavily populated province in southwestern China known for its fertile basin, rich culture, and famously spicy cuisine, featuring most significant portion of the Tibetan Plateau’s eastern edge.
Shangri-La is primarily a fictional, mythical, and harmonious mountain valley utopia described in James Hilton’s 1933 novel Lost Horizon, often associated with the Tibetan Kunlun Mountains. It is now synonymous to “earthly paradise”.
